Breadth of Fresh Air by Greg Morris

The McClellan Summation Index is a summation of the McClellan
Oscillator. In other words, a simple calculation of adding the
current
McClellan Oscillator to the total of all previous McClellan
Oscillators. The McClellan Oscillator, itself, is calculated using "advancing issues" and
"declining issues". So you can calculate this indicator on
any
index or ETF where historical advancing and declining issues
is available.
Traditionally, unless you calculated
the needed historical statistics yourself, this highly regarded indicator could only be
applied to the major exchange composites, the NYSE Composite, AMEX
Composite and NASDAQ Composite. Using our historical data, this
indicator can now be applied to all the indexes and ETFs on our
Compilation List. |
